Lunches and Free School Meals Registration

Booking School Lunches:

From September 2025, all lunch bookings should be submitted via Arbor Parent Portal, weekly, 8 days in advance.  Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are all entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) and do not need to pay for their meal order.  All other year groups need to pay for their meals at the time of booking.

Some families may be entitled to Free School Meals and additional school funding, based on benefits they receive.  Check if you are eligible here: https://www.gov.uk/apply-free-school-meals

You may notice a new look to our school menus and catering materials over the coming weeks. We are delighted to share that our catering service is being brought together under one unified brand, FlavourED.

While our name and design have changed, everything you value about our service remains exactly the same. You will still see the same dedicated team in our kitchens, serving the same great-tasting, nutritious meals your children enjoy every day.

This change simply reflects the consolidation of all school catering across the Trust under one banner, helping us work more efficiently and consistently while continuing to put quality, care, and great food at the heart of everything we do.

Thank you for your continued support — and we look forward to serving up even more great meals as FlavourED.

Free School Meals

We want to make sure that we are providing your child with the best education and support we can.  Healthy school food can help pupils establish healthy habits for life and help to improve pupils’ readiness to learn.

You may be entitled to receive free school meals if you are in receipt of certain benefits or support.  You could also raise additional pupil premium funding for our school to fund support like extra tuition, additional teaching staff or after school activities.

You only need to complete a Registration Form once.  Subsequent rechecks of your eligibility will be carried out annually to assess whether you continue to be eligible for free school meals.  Should you move your child to a new school, your child’s new school may proactively assess whether you continue to be eligible for free school meals.  You should contact the school or local authority if you have a change in financial circumstances.

We are committed to ensuring that the personal and sensitive information that we hold about you is protected and kept safe and secure, and we have measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.  We will use the information you provide to assess entitlement to free school meals. The information may also be shared with other Council departments to offer benefits and services.
