Public Consultation on Admission Statements for 2025-26 and 2026-27
Carterton Primary School Admission Statement 2025-2026 Public Consultation 11th December 2024 – 22nd January 2025
As required by the School Admissions Code, we have initiated a public consultation on varying the admission arrangements for Carterton Primary School for 2025-2026, which will run until 22nd January 2025. We welcome your feedback on the proposed changes. The proposals are to reduce the Published Admission Number (PAN) from 45 to 30. This means that the number of pupils admitted to the school in Reception each year will be a maximum of 30. Reducing the PAN will assist in providing stability in long-term planning for the school and allow the school to secure high-quality educational outcomes for the pupils currently on our roll, while continuing to provide an appropriate number of places for future pupil numbers in line with demand. To Apply:
Children join our Reception class the September after their fourth birthday. All admissions for years Reception to Year 6 are processed by Oxfordshire County Council.
